It’s summer in Connecticut, which means school’s out, the lake and shore beaches are busy and car show season has started!
Connecticut is home to a wide variety of car shows from small to large, general to specialty. Consider planning an outing (perhaps accompanied by a long drive through the countryside or along the shore) and experience one or more of these fun events this summer.
To help, we’ve compiled a list of the biggest and best car shows in Connecticut through the end of 2018.

Barnum Festival Car Show & Touch-A-Truck, Trumbull
When: July 1, 2018 9:00 am – 12:00 noon
Where: Trumbull High School, 72 Strobel Rd, Parking Lots, Trumbull, CT, 06611
Details: All classic and unique vehicles are welcome, and there is a $10 donation per vehicle on the day of the show. Open 7:30 am for car show entrants. First 200 entrants receive a goodie bag and dash plaque. Police, Fire, EMS and construction vehicles will be on display for Touch-A-Truck. The event is free to the public. All monies raised will be donated to support First Responders Local Charities Bridgeport Region.

3rd Annual Crusin' East Hartford Car Show, East Hartford
When: July 07, 2018 1:00 pm -- 4:00 pm
Where: Sunset Ridge School, 450 Forbes St., East Hartford, CT, 06027
Details: This show is presented by the Town of East Hartford Parks and Recreation Department in conjunction with the Connecticut Street Legends. Dash plaques will be given to the first 100 show cars and trophies will be awarded. Food will be available and oldies music played for your enjoyment. The show welcomes classics domestic and foreign cars, street rods, customs, antiques, old and new muscle cars. welcome. Cost is $10 per car.

The Falls Village Car & Motorcycle Show, Falls Village
When: July 08, 2018 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
Where: 34 Railroad St., Falls Village, CT, 06031
Details: $10 each for show vehicles, free entry. Special guest Dennis Gage will be filming the show for an upcoming segment of his TV show My Classic Car. Food, live music, vendors, entertainment. Huge variety of vehicles, trophies and dash plaques. No pre-registration necessary. Sponsored by Jacobs Garage, The Falls Village Inn, and Toymakers Café.

19th Annual Bethlehem Firefighters Association Car Show, Bethlehem
When: July 8, 2018 9:00 am to 1:00 pm
Where: 384 Main Street North, Bethlehem, CT, 06751
Details: Cost is $10 per entry, $2 per spectator. Children under 12 are free. Dash plaques will be presented for the first 100 vehicles, with many other awards including People's Choice Awards, door prizes, and trophies presented by the Firefighters Association and their sponsors. Food trucks will be present. All proceeds will benefit the Bethlehem Firefighters Association.

26th Annual Club Corvette of Connecticut Corvette Show, Guilford
When: July 08, 2018 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
Where: Moroso Performance Products, 80 Carter Lane Exit 59 Goose Lane off I-95, Guilford, CT, 06437
Details: Show entries are $25, spectators $5, children under 12 are free. There are 42 judged classes in three major groupings: show, superstreet and street. Participants receive a goody bag, an event T-shirt and a dash plaque. A DJ will play music, food and beverages will be available for purchase, and there will be a raffle with a variety of prizes.

17th Annual Charity Car Show, Simsbury
When: July 15, 2018 9:00 am to 2:00 pm

Details: There is a $10 fee per show car. Includes dash plaques, more than 20 trophies, food, music, vendors and family-friendly activities including touch-a-fire truck, pet adoption meet and greet, local produce from the farm truck and more.

Cabelas Classic Car Show, East Hartford

Details: Event benefits the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, and is sponsored by the Over The Hill Gang Eastern Chapter, Cabelas and NAPA. $10 entry per car.

43rd Annual Auto Show/Swap Meet, Goshen
When: August 19, 2018 10:00 am – 3:00 pm
Where: Route 63, Goshen Agricultural Fairgrounds, Goshen, CT, 06756
Details: Antique autos, trucks, tractors and motorcycles. The event will include food, door prizes, raffles, a hula-hoop contest and indoor/outdoor flea market. Ford Model A rides. $10 for show cars, $4 for spectators. Sponsor is Litchfield Hills Historical Auto Club.
