For car lovers across the country, almost nothing beats attending a local car show. Car shows and enthusiast rallies bring together hundred or even thousands of car fanatics together to share their vehicles and enjoy those of their friends and neighbors on display.

Luckily for those of us in the Enfield communities, Connecticut offers more than its share of car shows!

Indian Meadow Estate Car Show, Winsted

• When: Saturday, August 19, 2017, 10:00 am – 2:00 pm
• Where: Indian Meadow Estate – 122 Marshall Street (Route 183), Winsted, CT
• Details: Sponsored by the Knights of Columbus, the Indian Meadow Estate Car Show will feature dash plaques for the first 100 vehicles, ‘50s music by DJ Jaque Williams, a 50/50 raffle, and more.

5th Annual Colebrook Car Show, Colebrook

• When: Saturday, September 2, 2017, 9:00 am – 2:00 pm
• Where: 562 Colebrook Rd, Colebrook, CT
• Details: The show will feature free dash plaques for the first 100 cars, prizes, raffles, and more. Runs in conjunction with the 73rd Colebrook Fair. Entry is $10.

43rd Annual CCR-AACA Auto & Truck Meet, Glastonbury

• When: Sunday, September 10, 2017, 10:00 am – 3:00 pm
• Where: Glastonbury Elk's Club, 98 Woodland Street, South Glastonbury, CT
• Details: Features antiques, sports cars, hot rods, trucks, fire trucks and more. Entry fees for show cars is $10 (pre-1928 free), entry for spectators is $5. Free dash plaques for the first 250 cars, trophies, kids’ activities, and more.

Norfolk Classic Car Show, Norfolk

• When: Saturday, September 16, 2017, 11:00 am – 3:00 pm
• Where: Yale Music Shed Parking Grounds, Norfolk, CT
• Details: The show will feature music, food, raffles, and a variety of classic and show cars. Registration is $15, admission for spectators is free.

10th Annual GOYA Car Show, Waterbury

• When: Saturday, September 16, 2017, 11:00 am – 3:00 pm
• Where: Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, Waterbury, CT
• Details: 10th Annual Car Show sponsored by GOYA (Greek Orthodox Youth Association). $5.00 for Car Registration. No cut off dates - park with your friends. Food, music, raffle, 50/50, trophies and more!

Granby Ambulance Scholarship Benefit, Granby

• When: Saturday, September 16, 2017, 10:00 am – 4:00 pm
• Where: Mark's Auto Parts & Recyclers, 22 Russel Road, East Granby, CT
• Details: All makes and years are welcome. The show will feature food, music, trophies, a 50/50 raffle, and more. $10 entry fee for show cars.

12th Annual Benefit for Rocky Hill Food Pantry Car Show, Rocky Hill

• When: Sunday, September 24, 2017, 11:00 am – 3:00 pm
• Where: Michel Angelo's Plaza, 825 Cromwell Ave. (Rt. 3), Rocky Hill, CT
• Details: Show will feature food, prizes, oldies music, giveaways, and more. Classics, street rods, customs, and muscle cars are welcome to display with $10 cash or a donation of $10-worth of non-perishable foods.

Cruise, Blues, and Brews Festival, Chester

• When: Saturday, September 30, 2017, 8:00 am for cars and 10:00 for the general public
• Where: Chester Fairgrounds, 11 Kirtland Terrace, Chester, CT
• Details: Show will feature food trucks, craft beer, vendors, kids’ area, games, performances by top blues bands, and more. Cars include sports cars, muscle cars, exotics, low riders, motorcycles, and more.

Cartoberfest 2017, New Hartford

• When: Sunday, October 1, 2017, 10:00 am – 3:00 pm
• Where: Hurley Park on the Farmington, 37 Greenwoods Road, New Hartford, CT
• Details: Show will feature dash plaques, live entertainment, door prizes, food, and more. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to the New Hartford Volunteer Fire & Rescue.

Cars for Kids Automobile Show, Litchfield

• When: Sunday, October 8, 2017, 10:00 am – 3:00 pm
• Where: Connecticut Junior Republic, 550 Goshen Road (Route 63), Litchfield, CT
• Details: All cars are welcome—show cars, antiques, muscle cars, trucks, customs, and more. Show will feature food, farm market, face painting, hay rides, and more. $10 auto show entry fee; $5 per car load for spectators.

44th Annual Fall Ty-Rods Auto Swap Meet, Stafford Springs

• When: Sunday, October 15, 2017, 7:00 am – 4:00 pm
• Where: Stafford Motor Speedway, 55 West Street, Stafford Springs, CT
• Details: Show will feature food, vendors, car corral, swap meet and more. $30 entry fee per vehicle. Spectator admission is $11.
